Writing a blog for a website is much easier than making it noticed and making it a hit. Until and unless your posting is not ranked, your worth of writing is not prized. Your blog is your trump card to win you business and much much more. For your blogs to be successful make sure that you set your area of interest and then start focusing on it.
I started blogging in March of 2004. I have certainly gained the benefits described above. Beyond those, I have made new connections with potential colleagues and collaborators who have found my blog and sent me comments, feedback or questions.
Blogs in general are simply diaries or logs of daily or moment to moment activity, quite simply a journal of sorts. Although lately blogs have become a great way to share your opinion or simply share knowledge with others, in personal or social life as well as in a business environment. It has become a way to have fun, feel close, or even become reachable in all sorts of situations.
But if you’re a small business owner or home business owner with an online element, you can get away with firing up a free blog and paying for an inexpensive custom template if you can’t install one on your own. Most blog consultants will do all the keyword research, etc for you, so that all you’ll have to do is log in and blog.

Where does the money come in? Well that will come in time. My favorite source of income from blogging is from Google’s AdSense program. To join AdSense signup for an account and then place code into your blog posts. The code then appears as an ad once posted. When users click the ad, you make money. The price you make per click varies each time but can sometimes be more then just a few bucks. It all depends on the market/niche your blog falls into. See Google’s AdSense will pull ads relating to the content on your website.
I committed to doing all these things, but in the meaintime, what about my website and the products that I was trying to sell, the money I was hoping to make?
Make it a habit to post to your blog regularly. You can post daily, weekly, or even monthly – but posting daily or weekly will get you the best results if you are trying to learn how blogging can help you with SEO. Blog posts can be long or short. If you have a lot of time to write, make them long. If you only have a few minutes to spare each day, write one or two paragraphs – just be sure to use your keywords and key phrases!
