The Bellwood

Tokyo, Japan

The second bar from the SG Club team, The Bellwood is inspired by specialty cafés from Japan's Taisho-era (1912-1926), known as "kissa". To the point, the cutting-edge cocktail list devised by legendary bartender Atsushi Suzuki puts a spotlight on all things coffee and tea. Not comfortable resting on any laurels, the menu takes on different themes regularly. The bar is located just down the street from its sibling bar in Shibuya, and like the SG Club, one can expect the same attention to design throughout, with a gorgeous polished-wood back bar, glowing globe lights and other thoughtful touches that strike the balance between vintage and contemporary. The Bellwood also has a smaller bar in the back, this time dedicated to experimental food and drink concepts.
