Restaurant Lee
Tallinn, Estonia
Nestled in the shadow of an ancient tower along Tallinn’s Old Town walls is local hotspot Leib (Estonian for ‘bread’). The setting is cosy and classic, with a brick and wood-clad dining room, sheepskin-slung seating and a homely garden terrace. As the name suggests, the black bread for which Tallinn is known is a highlight, but chef Janno Lepik extends his celebration of Estonian culinary tradition across his modern menu. In collaboration with local farmers and producers, expect comforting plates like beef tartare with ash mayo and black garlic, grilled quail with roasted cabbage salad and black-bread ice cream. Great craft beers, too.
